How much progress can I expect in a year?

It heavily depends on how much you immerse each day.
Let's say you start learning Japanese today. If you're doing Japanese all the time, after a year you can expect around 95% comprehension of your typical input. But I can't be totally sure because everyone progresses at their own pace.
